Ruben Torres Hurt, Out for Year Friday, September 26th, 2031 Ruben Torres will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the Jersey right fielder could miss the remainder of the year. Torres was injured while making a defensive play in the Jesters-Bombers clash at The Royal Court at Jersey Yards recently. Doctors said he has a sprained thumb and would be out a minimum of 4 weeks. This season Torres is batting .275 with 150 hits and 20 home runs. He has scored 77 times and has 73 RBI. |
