Kansas City's Winters Sidelined for Season

Matt Winters has to call it a season. The Kansas City Tornadoes left fielder sustained a season-ending injury against the Cabo San Lucas Toreros and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Winters was injured while running the bases. His doctors diagnosed it as a quad strain and stated that he would not be able to play for 4 weeks.

This season Winters is batting .342 with 172 hits, 11 home runs, 71 RBIs, .418 OBP and has scored 75 runs.
