Jesters Fernando Germán Down and Out for Year Thursday, September 18th, 2031 The Jersey Jesters were dealt a severe blow when Fernando Germán was hurt making a defensive play recently in a game against the Duke City Danger. After the game, the team trainer reported Germán might have to spend a lengthy time on the disabled list. Today doctors confirmed it, ruling the 35-year-old left fielder out for the rest of the season with a concussion. They indicated it would take Germán at least 9-10 months to heal. This year Germán has hit at a .254 clip with 51 RBIs, 18 home runs and 45 runs scored. |
