"You never want to let off the throttle, no matter how many games you are up in the standings," said starting pitcher Tanner Johnson. "We knew it was our division to win, but you never know what will happen until it's official." The Republic have been the class of the division this season and with a 102-41 record thus far can lay claim to their 17th division crown. The club's manager has gotten a lot of credit for preparing his team for the season. "I think it's safe to say it's ABL World Series or bust at this point," Munenori Sato said. |
