Thurman Munson League Names Guinn Best Batter Monday, September 15th, 2031 25-year-old George Guinn sent shock waves through ADULT BASEBALL LEAGUE last week with an eye-popping performance that brought him the Thurman Munson League Player of the Week Award. A newcomer to the league, Guinn made the establishment sit up and take notice, punishing opposing pitchers with a .429 average, 9 hits in 21 at-bats, 5 home runs and 10 runs batted in. Where the Cabo San Lucas Toreros first baseman goes from here, only the baseball gods know for sure, but Guinn certainly made his mark last week. This year Guinn has hit at a .250 pace and produced 72 RBIs, 24 home runs and scored 69 runs. |
