Young Takes This Week's Trophy Monday, September 15th, 2031 A battle-tested Joe Young declared war on opposing pitchers last week, attacking the ball like the well-schooled veteran he is. Today the 34-year-old Seattle right fielder collected the Roberto Clemente League Player of the Week Award. He wrapped up the week with a .375 average, 9 hits in 24 at-bats, 3 home runs, 13 RBIs and 6 runs scored. So far this year Young is hitting .314 with 40 home runs. |
