Jacksonville's Vázquez Down with Injury Sunday, September 14th, 2031 It was announced today in Jacksonville that Jacks catcher Ángel Vázquez will be on the mend for one week because of a foot contusion he sustained in a recent game against the San Francisco Earthquakes. Vázquez was injured running the bases. In 132 games this season Vázquez has compiled a .288 batting average with 138 hits and 17 home runs. He has also scored 59 times and knocked in 55 runs. |
