Jersey Third Baseman Out Saturday, September 13th, 2031 After the end of today's game between Jersey and Seattle, Ron Verity skipped the clubhouse and headed straight for the doctor's office. After he was removed from the game as a precaution after throwing the ball, the Jesters had their worst fears confirmed when it turned out to be more serious. The third baseman will miss at least one week with elbow inflammation. Verity is swinging at a .279 pace on the year with 20 home runs, 65 RBIs and 57 runs scored. He has played in 109 games. |
