Beavers Blair Down with Injury Saturday, September 13th, 2031 The Beavers received bad news this morning. Ralph Blair will miss one week due to a sore knee. He sustained the injury in the Portland-South Carolina game while running the bases. "I'm disappointed more than anything," he told reporters later in the day. "You can't help your team on the bench," Blair sighed. "I'll do the rehab work and hope for a quick recovery." This year Blair has hit 27 home runs and posted a .287 batting average. |
