Jacksonville Loses Trujillo for Year
Friday, September 12th, 2031
The Jacksonville Jacks were dealt a severe blow when Javier Trujillo was hurt colliding with a player at a base recently in a game against the San Francisco Earthquakes. After the game, the team trainer reported Trujillo might have to spend a lengthy time on the disabled list. Today doctors confirmed it, ruling the 21-year-old shortstop out for the rest of the season with a strained hamstring. They indicated it would take Trujillo at least 6 weeks to heal.

Trujillo is hitting at a .272 mark this season. His stats show 2 home runs, 25 RBIs and 35 runs scored. He has played 106 games for the Jacks.
