Pals Gone for Season in Portland
Thursday, September 4th, 2031
The Portland Beavers and their fans were rocked today by the news that star starting pitcher Rolf Pals would miss the rest of the season due to injury. Pals was hurt in a recent game against the Oklahoma City Prowlers while throwing a pitch. He was immediately removed from the game and taken for examination. Tests today revealed the injury was ulnar nerve irritation. His doctors think that Pals will miss about 4-5 months.

In 27 starts this season Pals has recorded a 10-9 record and a 4.87 ERA.
