August's #1 Starter Named in TML Monday, September 1st, 2031 Ange Schmit's been around the league long enough to appreciate the honor he received today. After going 5-1 in August, the 28-year-old South Carolina hurler has been named Thurman Munson League Pitcher of the Month. He fanned 58 in 43.1 innings, logged an ERA of 3.12 and allowed opponents to hit .196 against him. Thus far this season, Schmit has tossed 200 innings in 28 starts, fanned 244 batters, walked 65 and put up a 3.83 ERA with 18 wins and 9 losses. |
