Player of the Week: Murphy of the Sasquatch Monday, September 1st, 2031 Baden Murphy of the Seattle Sasquatch might have lost a step over the years, but the 36-year-old first baseman can still get it done. He beat out several other worthy Roberto Clemente League hitters over this past week to claim the Player of the Week Award. Murphy posted a .522 batting average with 3 home runs and 9 RBIs last week while scoring 6 runs. For the week he was 12 for 23. This season Murphy has 19 home runs and a .288 batting average. |
