Georgia 3B Moreno Will Miss 2 Weeks Tuesday, August 26th, 2031 The Grays will be minus Armando Moreno for about 2 weeks after the third baseman suffered a strained back muscle while running the bases in a recent game against Quebec. Moreno and the Georgia skipper were hoping further examination might show there was less damage than originally thought and he would be absent a shorter duration. This season Moreno is batting .296 with 142 hits, 21 home runs, 77 RBIs, 30 walks, .339 OBP and has scored 79 runs. He has played in 124 games. |
