Kohei Matsumoto Hurt, Out 1-2 Weeks Friday, August 22nd, 2031 After injuring himself, Stogies first baseman Kohei Matsumoto headed straight to the hospital. He was removed from the game as a precaution after being hit by a pitch and the team's worst fears were confirmed when it turned out to be a little more serious. Matsumoto will miss at least 1-2 weeks with an elbow contusion. Thus far in 2031 Matsumoto is hitting .317 with 22 home runs, 77 RBIs, 47 runs scored and has compiled a .361 OBP. |
