Setback For Prowlers and Manny Calderón Monday, August 18th, 2031 Manny Calderón is hurting again, just a few days into his treatment for a partially torn labrum. Apparently the injury worsened, so the Prowlers sent the 29-year-old reliever back to the doctors for reexamination. Calderón told them that the pain had gotten much worse in recent days. It was confirmed that the injury was indeed much more severe that first thought. He was sent to a specialist, who felt that treatment would be longer than first diagnosed. Calderón will now miss a minimum of 7 weeks. This season Calderón has logged 6 relief appearances, 17.1 IP, 16 strikeouts, and a 2.60 ERA. His W-L mark is no wins and 2 losses, and he has no saves. |
