Columbus Loses Takeshi Gato for Season Sunday, August 10th, 2031 The Columbus Aces and their fans were rocked today by the news that star reliever Takeshi Gato would miss the rest of the season due to injury. Gato was hurt in a recent game against the Duke City Danger while throwing a pitch. He was immediately removed from the game and taken for examination. Tests today revealed the injury was bone chips in his elbow. His doctors think that Gato will miss about 4 months. This season Gato has been credited with no saves in 5 relief appearances.
