Aces José Gallegos to Miss Year Saturday, August 9th, 2031 The Columbus Aces were dealt a severe blow when José Gallegos was hurt throwing a pitch recently in a game against the Duke City Danger. After the game, the team trainer reported Gallegos might have to spend a lengthy time on the disabled list. Today doctors confirmed it, ruling the 36-year-old closer out for the rest of the season with a strained hamstring. They indicated it would take Gallegos at least 3 months to heal. This year Columbus reliever Gallegos has made 30 relief appearances and has 8 saves. His record is 3-4 with 80 strikeouts in 71 innings and a 4.31 ERA. |
