5-for-5 Day for Buller
Tuesday, August 5th, 2031
5 times is the charm -- at least for Don Buller.
The Eureka Hornets first baseman tore up the Maple Marauders to the tune of 5 hits in 5 at-bats at Legends Park today. The offensive onslaught from Buller powered the Hornets to a 12-11 win.
"Buller was a tough out today," Maple manager Jesús Alfaro said to the press in the postgame interview. "He hit some very good pitches with that quick bat of his. Not an easy out, that's for sure."
Don Buller singled in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Paul Barrett in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 7th and hit an RBI double in the 8th.
Buller is batting .279 this season in 104 games with 11 home runs, 47 RBIs and 57 runs scored. He has 108 hits in 387 at-bats.
