Stogies Snap Pittman's Streak at 24 Tuesday, August 5th, 2031 After 24 games, Jon Pittman saw his hitting streak end when he went hitless in 4 at-bats. However, the Republic won, which took some of the sting out of it. So Cal topped the Havana Stogies 1-0 at House of the Republic. "It was a good run," the left fielder said after the game. "It was bound to end at some point. I'm just glad we won the day it ended." So far this year in 86 games Pittman is hitting .363 with 11 home runs, 67 RBIs and 66 runs scored. |
