Pittman Keeps Hit Streak Alive Wednesday, July 30th, 2031 Jon Pittman extended his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20 games today in the So Cal 7-4 triumph over the South Carolina Bombers. The 27-year-old Republic left fielder collected 3 hits in 5 at-bats. Jon Pittman singled in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Félix Betancourt in the 7th and grounded out in the 8th. So far this season Pittman has 10 home runs and a .362 batting average. |
