Yamasaki Sidelined for One Week Thursday, July 24th, 2031 The South Carolina Bombers will have to make do without Kiyonobu Yamasaki for one week. He suffered a strained abdominal muscle while running the bases in the game today against the San Francisco Earthquakes. His teammates, understandably, were upset about losing the center fielder. "That's a tough break for him," one of them said. "But this team is resilient. We will just fill in until he gets back." This year Yamasaki has collected a .317 batting average to date with 106 hits in 334 at-bats, 49 RBIs, 19 home runs and scored 55 times. He has played in 92 games. |
