Hit Streak Over, Jesters Stop McMahon Wednesday, July 23rd, 2031 After 20 games, Dustin McMahon had his hitting streak ended abruptly today by Jersey at Legends Park. The Marauders third baseman failed to get a hit in 4 at-bats and his brief fling with fame has come to a halt. But McMahon seemed to care less -- it didn't matter as Maple took a 4-3 victory from the Jesters. McMahon didn't dwell on the streak saying, "It was good while it lasted. If it had to end, I'm glad it ended with a victory." Looking at his season stats, McMahon has compiled a .329 batting average and a .352 on-base percentage, while hitting 8 home runs and driving in 37 runs. |
