Kansas City Loses Matt Winters
Sunday, July 20th, 2031
It took the Kansas City team doctor a while to realize it, but left fielder Matt Winters won't simply play through a strained hamstring after he got hurt making a defensive play in today's Hornets-Tornadoes game. At first, it looked like Winters might be back as early as tomorrow, but now the prognosis isn't quite so good; he's expected to miss at least 3 weeks.

So far this season Winters has put up a .345 batting average with 125 hits, 7 home runs and 46 RBIs.
