António Medrano Hurt, Will Miss Rest of Year Saturday, July 19th, 2031 The season is finished for António Medrano of the San Francisco Earthquakes. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Earthquakes starting pitcher suffered a ruptured finger tendon while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Bloomington Blazers. Team doctors said it would take at least 4 months to heal. This season Medrano has compiled a 5-9 mark with a 4.50 ERA in 18 starts. |
