Saturday, July 5th, 2031
With one swing of the bat, Curt Hall put his name in the league record books yesterday at McNichols Stadium. It was his 2500th career hit, putting him in a select group of players.
In spite of Curt Hall's achievement, his Kansas City Tornadoes went down to defeat to the Mile High Mustangs, 10-1.
On his milestone day, the 39-year-old catcher registered 1 hit in 3 at-bats.
In his 2175-game career Hall is hitting .300 with 2500 hits, 400 home runs, 1348 runs scored and 1446 RBIs.
