Oscar Hunt Hits #400 Wednesday, July 2nd, 2031 The Bloomington Blazers had something to celebrate today even though they dropped a 6-5 decision to Portland. The reason -- the splendid slugger Oscar Hunt hit his 400th career homer in today's contest at Celestrial Fields at Hermann Park. "I'm fortunate to be here," Hunt told the media after the game. "The Blazers have a classy organization and some great fans. Homer #400 was for them." In his career Hunt has compiled a .284 batting average and collected 1871 hits, 400 home runs and 1191 RBIs.
