Republic SP Bowen Tosses Masterpiece Wednesday, June 25th, 2031 Elias Bowen of the So Cal Republic spun his magic on the Columbus Aces today. He blanked them 9-0 on 6 hits, registering 6 strikeouts and 2 walks. "The bottom line was I just kept the ball down," Bowen said. "My breaking stuff was down. Everything was down." Talking to reporters in the postgame interview, So Cal skipper Munenori Sato said the team "got solid pitching, good defense and took great team at-bats in a lot of different situations."
