RCL Awards Player of the Week Trophy Monday, June 23rd, 2031 It's always a thrill for fans of the team and students of the game alike when a superstar in the making shows what he's got. Ichiyo Yano, the Brooklyn Black Knights 24-year-old shortstop, put himself in the spotlight last week making him the clear-cut choice for Roberto Clemente League Player of the Week honors. He ripped 14 hits in 25 at-bats, compiling a .560 average with 1 home run and 6 RBIs. For the season Yano has produced 76 hits in 266 at-bats for a .286 average with 11 home runs and gotten on base at a .336 clip. |
