Álvarez Slaps 5 Hits Thursday, June 19th, 2031 The Georgia Grays couldn't stop Luis Álvarez today, but they stopped the San Francisco Earthquakes, 12-8. Álvarez went 5-for-5 in the game at Golden Gate Park, but his team still came out on the wrong end of the score. "I feel bad for Luis -- that's not how any of us wanted things to turn out," said San Francisco manager Julián Flores. "The Grays were on their game today." Luis Álvarez doubled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Tai Quian in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit a two-run single in the 9th.
