Pittman Boosts Hit Streak to 20 Games Wednesday, June 11th, 2031 Fans around the league are beginning to get interested in the Republic 27-year-old left fielder Jon Pittman. What is drawing all the attention is his 20-game hitting streak. Pittman extended it again in today's game with the Hops with 3 hits. But it wasn't enough. San Diego won the game 7-3.
