Manager Bernard Jacq Forced out in Jacksonville Wednesday, June 11th, 2031 "I'm just a scapegoat," said Bernard Jacq to reporters in the stadium parking lot after the Jacksonville Jacks announced his firing as manager early today. "You think I did a bad job? It's the players who couldn't hit, couldn't pitch, couldn't catch the damn ball. And you can print that," he added, as he stamped out a cigarette and stomped off. Jacq's replacement wasn't immediately named, but a Jacksonville official said an announcement could come as soon as tomorrow. |
