Super Week for Seattle's Young! Monday, June 9th, 2031 A battle-tested Joe Young declared war on opposing pitchers last week, attacking the ball like the well-schooled veteran he is. Today the 33-year-old Seattle right fielder collected the Roberto Clemente League Player of the Week Award. He wrapped up the week with a .522 average, 12 hits in 23 at-bats, 3 home runs, 7 RBIs and 5 runs scored. Looking at his present stats, Young has compiled a .329 batting average in 60 games with a .378 on-base percentage, while hitting 20 home runs and driving in 69 runs. |
