Islanders Catcher Dannattet Injured
Sunday, June 8th, 2031
The Hawaii Islanders will have to make do without Douglas Dannattet for 5 weeks. He suffered a strained quad while running the bases in the game today against the Brooklyn Black Knights. His teammates, understandably, were upset about losing the catcher. "That's a tough break for him," one of them said. "But this team is resilient. We will just fill in until he gets back."
Dannattet is batting .237 this season in 50 games with 4 home runs, 15 RBIs and 14 runs scored. He has 37 hits in 156 at-bats.
