The Hawaii Islanders grabbed a 4-0 win over the Columbus Aces at Aloha Stadium. Hawaii designated hitter Bagaskoro Pakpahan went 2-4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once to earn player of the game honors. The winner was Hawaii reliever António Méndez, now 2-2. The loser was Chris Riddle. The wins continue to add up for Hawaii, with the latest making it 8 in a row.

Pakpahan had an important at-bat with runners on 1st and 3rd in the bottom of the eighth, when he hit a 3-run home run. The Islanders went on to win.
