Islanders Suffer 4-2 Loss to Patriots
|
The Francis Lewis Patriots and Grand Island Islanders played an exciting game at Ballpark of Morelia HS.
Francis Lewis Patriots starter Aaron Coltrin turned in a top-notch performance against the Grand Island Islanders at Ballpark of Morelia HS. The result was a win for the Patriots, 4-2. The first-place Patriots improved to 23-19.
Jimmy Theriot was a key contributor to the win for the Patriots. In the top of the ninth with two out, the light-hitting third baseman stroked a single to right. He went 3-5 with 3 singles, while adding 2 RBI.
"I tried to mix it up, keep them off balance," said Coltrin.
