Cassell Leads Patriots to Win
|
Another day, another victory for the red-hot George Washington Patriots.
George Washington right fielder Frank Cassell had a 5-RBI performance, which helped his team grab a 10-6 win over the Jefferson Indians. Quinn Hall was the winner. Over 5 innings, he allowed 1 run on 5 hits, with 1 walk and 6 strikeouts. Jason Flesher earned the save for George Washington, his 1st.
Early in the game, Cassell had a 3-run home run for George Washington. It was his 6th home run of the season and put the Patriots on top, 3-0.
"We feel like we're going to win every game right now," said George Washington skipper Frank Robles.
The wins continue to add up for George Washington, with the latest making it 8 in a row.
