Jaguars Suffer 5-4 Setback
|
Central Tech Blues starter John Rudge was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Jacksonville State Jaguars, 5-4. Rudge went 7.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 8 hits, walked 2, and struck out 9. His record improves to 2-2. Ryan Schwanz earned the save for Central Tech, his 4th.
Paul Armbruster didn't waste any time giving his team the lead. His first time up in the top of the first, he cranked a 2-run single to put Central Tech on top, 2-0.
"John was throwing free and easy," said Central Tech manager Yassin Flament.
Central Tech is now 11-27.
