Poly Pull Off Thrilling Win in Extras
The Riverside Poly and San Marin Mustangs put on quite a show at Silvertips Ballpark.

The Riverside Poly wiggled past the San Marin Mustangs, 5-4, at Silvertips Ballpark. Riverside designated hitter Jack Corder earned player of the game honors. Steven McKelvey, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 3rd save.

Garrett Gackle had the most critical at-bat for Riverside. With one in the top of the tenth inning, Gackle hit a first pitch slider from Francisco Guerrero for a run-scoring single. It put Riverside in front, 5-4.

"Big win," said Corder.

Riverside leads the Hank Aaron League Bob Gibson Division by 2½ games.
