Killy hits 2 home runs to Power Lions Offense
The Lerna Lions dealt the Montreal Cardinals a 11-6 loss at Ballpark of Ecatepec HS. Rodney Killy was the star on offense. He belted 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice. Lerna starter Kevin Hostetter was credited with the win after throwing 110 pitches over 6.2 innings. His record now stands at 3-2. Their 18-16 record puts the Lions second in the Pete Rose League Alex Rodriguez Division.

Killy had a clutch at-bat in the bottom of the first for the Lions. Coming up with runners on 2nd and 3rd and Lerna trailing 1-0, he hit a 2-run double.

"It was offense that won us the game," said winning manager Nick Riddick.
