Jaguars Walk Off with Win
|
The Jacksonville State Jaguars got a stellar performance from pitcher Nate Salak, who handcuffed the Carl Albert offense en route to a 5-2 win at Chickenhawks Stadium. Nate Stuckey got credit for the win, improving to 1-1. He allowed no runs on no hits in 2 innings. The win puts the Jaguars at 15-19, while the Titans drop to 15-19.
Mark Freeman changed the game with one swing of the bat. With no one out in the bottom of the tenth, the Jacksonville State designated hitter hammered a 3-run home run off Brandon Rosko. It was his 2nd home run of the season. With it, Jacksonville State took the lead, 5-2.
"This place was jumping at the end," Freeman said.
