Patriots Come Up Short at Downsview
Downsview right fielder Thomas Crawford picked up 3 ribbies while helping his team beat back the George Washington Patriots, 6-5. Wade Knuth picked up the save for Downsview, his 4th of the year. The Patriots, at 11-22, have lost 4 straight games.

The Mustangs got a gift in the bottom of the sixth inning. With the game was tied, 5-5, Thomas Crawford reached on an error by the left fielder, driving in 1 run. It made the score 6-5, Downsview.

"We put a lot of pressure on ourselves," Crawford told a Downsview Herald reporter. "Sometimes we need just to relax."
