It seemed Jefferson Indians first baseman Chris Nutting could do no wrong today, but it still didn't come out right.

The Indians fell against the College Park by the score of 14-13. Nutting did all he could, rapping out 5 hits in 6 at-bats, but in the end, College prevailed at Swamp Foxes Stadium.

"I felt real good today, but my best just wasn't enough," Nutting said in the postgame interview. "We didn't play well enough to win. I saw the ball well and put the ball in play well, and they fell in for base hits. Some days they do that."

Chris Nutting grounded out in the 1st, hit a three-run home run off Demy Reijnen in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, doubled in the 8th and singled in the 9th.

Thus far this year Nutting is batting .339 with 8 home runs, 26 RBIs and 39 runs scored.
