Thrilling Walk-Off Win for Warhawks
|
The Seminole Warhawks wiggled past the Carl Albert Titans, 5-4, at Attack Ballpark. Seminole pitcher Aaron Garcia earned player of the game honors. Seminole reliever Adam Aubuchon got the win, raising his record to 3-0. Tom Frenchik was tagged with the loss. Seminole is third in the Hank Aaron League Willie Mays Division with a record of 15-17.
Manny Briones was involved in some late-game drama. With one out in the bottom of the tenth, Briones hit a run-scoring single. It helped Seminole snatch the win.
"This is a resilient bunch," said Seminole manager Rich Nolin.
