The Topeka West Chargers and George Washington Patriots completed their game despite the inclement weather.

The Topeka West Chargers blasted the George Washington Patriots, 18-4. Eddie Lannigan was one of the hitting stars. He hit 2 home runs, while adding 7 RBI and scoring twice for Topeka West. Topeka West, at 19-12, occupies first place in the Pete Rose League Roger Clemens Division.

Lannigan hit a 3-run home run in the top of the first to help the Topeka West cause. The home run, which was hit off Craig Mahoney, allowed Topeka West to take a 3-0 lead.

"We did more than enough to get the win," said Lannigan.
