Morton, Chargers Too Much for Patriots
The 2032 season is getting ugly for George Washington.

Jason Morton added some punch to the Topeka West offense, helping them outmuscle the George Washington Patriots, 12-7. In the game, Morton was 3-5 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. At 18-12, Topeka West is in first place in the Pete Rose League Roger Clemens Division.

When the Chargers needed a boost, it was the light-hitting Morton who delivered. Facing George Washington pitcher Alain Bob the top of the sixth with runners on 1st and 3rd, Morton hit his 2nd home run of the year. It made the score 8-3.
