Late Magic Gets Francis Lewis 5-4 Win
In a close game at Ottawa HS Grounds, the Francis Lewis Patriots edged the Downsview Mustangs, 5-4. Francis Lewis second baseman Ross Centner earned the nod as player of the game. He went 3 for 5 with a home run and a double. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Francis Lewis reliever Mike Jones picked up the win, bumping his record to 1-1. Jeff Gregson was collared with the loss. Francis Lewis now has a 3-game win streak.

The clutch at-bat in the bottom of the ninth belonged to Centner. Facing Jeff Gregson with the bases empty, the Francis Lewis second baseman had a solo home run. Game over, walk-off style!
