Bolten Leads Lancers to Win over Cardinals
The Canby Lancers defeated the Montreal Cardinals, 6-4, at Ballpark of Villahermosa HS today. Leading the charge for Canby was right fielder Gabriel Bolten. He slugged 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. Canby starter Brandon Bullis was credited with the win after throwing 124 pitches over 8 innings. His record now stands at 2-2. With the win, the Lancers have a record of 17-12.

Bolten's nice game included a clutch 2-run home run in the bottom of the first.

Bolten expressed little emotion after the game. "Every game we win now," he said, "is one less win we'll need to get in the end."
