Antonio Pichardo Goes Distance in Win
The Montreal Cardinals knocked off the Derby Panthers, 7-1. Montreal starter Antonio Pichardo pitched well enough to earn top player honors. The win puts the Cardinals at 16-12, while the Panthers drop to 13-15.

Pichardo pitched a complete game for Montreal. The 17-year-old right-hander was charged with 1 run on 6 hits. He struck out 9 during his 135-pitch performance.
