Yoshioka Helps Tohoku Rakuten Cruise to 11-3 Win
The Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles had no problem beating the Chiba Lotte Marines, 11-3, at Ballpark of Nasu College. Tomoyuki Yoshioka led the way. He was 2 for 4 with 2 home runs and a walk, while adding 6 RBI and scoring twice for Tohoku Rakuten. Mike Craft earned the win to go to 1-4. He allowed no earned runs on 3 hits, with no walks and 6 strikeouts. Tohoku Rakuten goes to 27-20. The win puts them 3 games up in their division.

Yoshioka in the top of the third had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and the Golden Eagles leading 2-0, he hit a grand slam.
